I know it says to support the door with a jackstand, but my question is can this be done solo, or is it strictly a two person job? I know two would be more convenient, etc, but can you replace the hinge pin just by yourself?

Not real sure on when the aerostars had the digital cluster. I just remember seeing one in a junked aerostar at U-Wrench-It. If I go back soon I'll check it out, but it definitely wasn't std gauges like my mom's 93 aerostar.

Do a search about cleaning the tcase motor. The contacts in mine were black and shouldve been copper. A little electrical cleaner and a paper towel fixed my problem.

Well, I finally went and got a replacement DPFE. Reset the computer after I installed the new one, and BAM, no more CE light. It's not even been a week, but I've driven over 300 miles on the new DPFE and have yet to see a CE light. I appreciate all of the input and hope that this will help...
