    Amsoil prevents servo bore wear?

    Does anyone here know if running a high end synthetic like Amsoil tranny fluid would help with the servo bore wear issue on the 5R55W/E's? I realize Mercon V is a synthetic to begin with.

    Securing broken fuel injector plug...

    Carbon/ash piston deposits!!!

    Isn't there an easier way to remove these deposits from the piston tops? My 2 pistons that were pinging badly deposited this HARD, scaly crap...it took me 2 1/2 hours just to get ONE piston done. I'm using a scotch brite pad and a plastic putty knife. Car/choke cleaner hardly touches it...

    Connect remote starter switch?

    What oil do you run?

    I wish we had a survey page, but this is what is what I am wondering. What brand oil are you using and how many miles on your truck? I am currently running Valvoline 5W30 MaxLife, 94,000 miles. I AM partial to AMSOIL, though!!!

    Oil Sep. consumption?

    So after I installed my oil separator 200 miles ago, I have about 1/2 a teaspoon of oil in the reservoir. This doesn't seem excessive, right? My pinging has been minimal on 89 octane (on 89 it USED to be BAD), and it's been 50 degrees out. I was pinging on 92 octane at 20 degrees outside...

    Oil separator install question...

    OK...got everything hooked up...on the bottom of the separator there is a petcock valve to drain the oil...BUT...I'm getting suction from this valve. If I put my finger underneath the petcock while the truck is running I can feel suction...it's like a little nipple with a tiny hole in the end...
