Will a 95 to 00 ford ranger tranny fit my explorer? my tranny is pretty close to death (240,000) miles, if so is it possible to convert to a manual transmission or 4x4? trying to mod exploder if possible. Thanks Mike

Need to sawp a motor in a 97 EX,5.0...Need to know if it matters if the exhaust manifold has the EGR hole or not....The parts place needs to know Couldnt I just swap whatever manifold I need onto it?? Or is there a differance in the motor/computer or something?? Thanks..

does anyone know if a 4.0L v6 OHV manual engine has the same bolt pattern as that of a automatic. and would there be any issues with that engine swap. i'm not sure if the year really matters but it's a 97 sport, going into a 98 xlt.

Like the title says, i'm swapping the motor out on my 95 xlt. It's the 4.0 automatic 4x4. I bought a motor out of a junk yard. The donor motor came out of a 96 ranger, but its the same exact motor (just less miles, been rebuilt by a ford certified shop, and has a good oil pump and main bearing...
