Got an engine swap question...

Will the 05 up V6 Mustang engine fit in the 2000 Explorer...I like the SOHC engine I have but the timing system is getting very noisy and if I were to find a good deal on a wrecked V6 Mustang, I would like to upgrade the V6 to one that is a better design...and will it bolt up to the 5r55e automatic?...I think the Mustang V6 is also rated at 240hp as well...I test drove one of these and they seem to be very torqy.

no it wont bolt up to the 5r55e trans. you would have to do an entire motor and trans. swap. plus the wiring harnesses and all that useful crap.
