01 ST: steering wheel?

I'd like to replace the steering wheel on my early 01 ST. I'm wondering if I can use a wheel from a later year and maybe even a two tone one?

I gave my dealer the VIN so he could order me a clockspring and he said I have the earliest one. Does this impact which steering wheel I can use?

I "think" you can use any Gen 1 Sport Trac steering wheel and most likely any 95-01 Explorer wheel.

For the record, I bought a whole column out of an 00 explorer with 85k miles and am replacing everything. Needed the clockspring anyways.
