17" vs 16"

Hello all, I have been considering some Mustang wheels and wanted opinions.
The two choices I have been looking at are 17" wheels with 235/55 tires off a 2008 Mustang and the other is a 16" wheel with 225/55 tires off a 2002 Mustang. What do you guys think will fit better? My Explorer is a 2001 Sport with 15" wheels and 235/75 tires.

Yes and no, I have been searching on craigslist to see what is available and this is the best I could find considering that I want the wheels to be from a Ford and have not been able to find explorer/ranger wheels with tires on them.

you should be looking for suv wheels. yes they differ, you also want to use suv tires not car tires.
