2000 ford explorer #13 fuse blowing

My # 13 fuse keeps blowing, and of course no brake lights, I installed a new brake light switch, did not help, I tested the rear bulbs for faults, did not help.
as soon as you step on the brake pedal, wham the fuse blows immediatlly, any ideas what else to check?

Have you checked the grounds along the path?

You're grounding out somewhere. Install a fuse that resists 5 amp more and if it pops you have to find where the wires are grounding out in the harness.

Fuse 13 (20 amps) in the Central Junction Box powers via light green/red wire the Brake Pressure Switch (opens when brake system has pressure) and the Brake Pedal Position Switch.

Shorts to ground like to blow fuses. Check the wires if you can for any pinching, or chaffing, to where it would ground out.
