2002 Ford Explorer Camper Conversion build

I thought i would post some photos of my build in progress it may help others or give some ideas the kitchen sink has 2 x 20litre containers inside 1 for water and the other for waste water, using a usb water pump tap and salad bowl drilled out with drain fitted.
35 litre 12v fridge freezer. they both can be moved around to suit how i want the setup to be.
The bed boards im cutting to fit side by side and lenth to cut so it will fit behind back seat when stored away and seat is up. also will cover the boards with a 4mm hard sponge carpet so not to scratch sink and fridge and give it grip as well.
the two piece board setup makes it easy for 1 person or 2 person camping and making it sit on the back seat flat and on the fridge and sink makes more head room.
Going to fit a storage bubble on roof for camping stuff.

more detail as i go along as planning also to add additional storage on sides, back seat, roof cargo net and water filter to sink and stuff

Thxs yeh i have a ton of stuff im going to do and will post up as i go along, i love getting away for a day or two gold panning or mtb riding
and i wanted to make it comfy for myself as i wanted a quick setup and pack up and to be off ground rather than my usuall tent setup so i got this and tried it out the other weekend. Its a tail gate cover that unzips for a awning.

yeh i actually wasn't thinking of this myself but it was one of those moments when i was only going for one night and didnt want to pack the tent and stuff, and i just slept in the car with all the seats folded down on a foldable mattress and it was roomy and did not hit my head sitting up.
and im 6ft tall.

I'm trying to decide what to do with the rear interior of mine. It still has an aluminum cop box that looks pretty handy. But it takes up a lot of space that I might like to use traveling. But the one big drawer fits my onewheel perfectly, so idk.

Yeh i still need to be able to use mine for work sometimes when im not using my van, so everything i do needs to be able to be removed quickly and not screwed down.

Removable bed boards, x 2 i wide for 1 person and 1 narrow to make it twin bed
boards glued covered in NuPlastex Charcoal Multi Purpose Anti Slip Matting which has a foam sponge to it as well.
made some interconnectable poles to slide into side groves of car to hold boards in storage when not in use when travelling.
