2002 Ranger A/C won't run.

Hey guys, anybody seen this scenerio? Pressure is running high (100 or so) but it won't engage the compressor. 3 people have tried to jump it and it will not jump, however every once in a while it will engage just for a few seconds on its own without jumping just to tease me. When it does randomly engage the pressure runs about where it should, but it usually just runs for 1 or 2 seconds literally. The other day we let the pressure out some and it did actually stay engaged long enough to get some 134a in and blew nice and cold, but now nothing again. With the pressure guage on it and the compressor not running I let the hot air out down to about 25 and that didn't work, but the pressure quickly built back up to 100. Any suggestions?

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the A/C & heater section. Check the continuity of the low pressure cut out switch, and the wiring to see if there is voltage going to the clutch coil.
