2006 Eddie Bauer fan blowers stopped working

A/C & Heater fan blower stopped working all of a sudden it will come on after I mess with the air direction selector and leave it alone for a while and as soon as I turn it back to another selection it quits again and stays off for a very long time and then it might or might not turn back on. Has anyone out there had a similar problem.

I just had the same exact thing happen on my 06 Eddie Bauer with 36,075 miles. When I would start the truck it would not work but once in a while when I hit a bump or two, it would turn on. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the blower motor under warranty.
