2008 4.0 V6 Peformance

Hi there you guys

just wondering i have 2008 explorer 4.0 v6 and was wondering how much quicker do you think my truck would be with a magnaflow muffler,kkm intake, and a tune from bamachips. like how much quicker 0-60 and 1/4 mile. Thanks

Ive got a flowmaster on mine..havent noticed anything.

But I was also wondering what the intake and tune would do.

I have a magnaflow, kn filter ,sct xcal 3 tuner, & autolite XP spark plugs

you won't see a big difference from 0-60 , but you sure will feel it!!!

i have an 06 4.0 xlt
when you grab all of these, like me,you will know something eles is missing
maybe some headers

but you will get some high end horsepower after 60mph, and remove your speed & REV limiter with the sct xcal 3, you will have a !V6 BEAST!

NOW 0-60 FOR A STOCK IS 8 seconds - with the upgrades i have 0-60 is 7.6 secs(not a big difference) but better

Where did you get the tuner and how much did you pay?

And how hard are they to use? Ive always wanted one but was always scared to use one.

i brought one for my mustang $299 but used it for my truck insted

then i got the tune file from bamachips for $50

its easy to use in your truck....plug it up...download.....unplug....and play

You sure??? That seems a little fast. I have the V8 and I know for sure I'm not getting a 7 second 0-60 time.

I'm thinking closer to 7.3, if you watch the timer real close i don't start moving till 3 seconds and hit sixty about 10.5 so until i can get a timer or something it's up in the air
