2018 Platinum Roof Wrap

Very happy with the 2018 Explorer but I thought the all white body was a bit much. So after getting quotes for both painting and wrapping the roof, I went ahead with the wrap alternative, using glossy black (Avery). It was much less expensive and it is reversible. I plan a proper photo shoot later, but here is an iPhone image from our garage:

It was done by a local shop called "The Dip Doctor".

I've been looking for info on a roof wrap... just curious how much this ended up costing you and how it is holding up a few years later?
My roof on my 2017 explorer is starting to get some rust spots and don't want the rust to get worse so thinking of this as an option compared to repainting, since repainting will cost significantly more and even then likely not be a permanent fix.
