I was changing my brakes and rotors on my 21 ford explorer recently and the piston came out of the caliper so I took the caliper off the car to reseat the piston. When doing that all the brake fluid drained out so now I have to replace the brake fluid and bleed the brakes. I've seen online that its needs to be in maintenance mode and then use forscan to abs bleed the brakes. I've also seen articles and videos of people doing this and they get the option to bleed at each caliper. The only option forscan is giving me is a 2 step procedure in which the first it just energizes the values and then the second step it wants me to hook up a pressure bleeder before starting the next step.
My question is, is there a way that I can just do the old manual way of bleeding the brakes on a 21 ford explorer limited?
