Hello, 1st time on this forum

Have a '96 Explorer with power door lock issues. Drivers door lock button quite working 1st and then door locks started going crazy, locking and unlocking by themselves while driving. Locks would also unlock by themselves after parking & walking away. This morning battery was completely run down overnight, wouldn't even burn dome light. Locks may have been having a seizure all night. Help!

Have your battery tested.

It's not the battery.

Did a reset on the auto lock system that I found on ford forum.com. Seems to have fixed it except the drivers door power lock button is still in-op.

You have a ton of wires that run from the drivers side door to your fuse box and harness through a rubber boot with a zip tie on it. You need to cut the zip tie to pull the boot back and you'll see all the wires and look at all of them cause they are know to wear and break form door use. Fix those like I did and should be peachy! Good luck!
