Hey does anyone know any websites with cheap upgrades for a 351 cleveland?

Summit? Jegs?

What are you looking for? That was my first engine, I've always loved them, I have many parts. You can now buy aftermarket heads and combine them with Windsor parts. Regards,

Well i'm trying for like cold air intake and if i can headers/exhast but idk if it will reach my exhast pipe because it's for a mustang and i got a 92 explorer xlt 4 door

The motor mounts might be the same as all 302/Windsor mounts, I've forgotten that. There will not be any Cleveland specific parts for late model cars. The 351C was not made past 1974. You could have some luck on the Mustang Forums, where people there have definitely built Cleveland Mustangs. Good luck,

This is incorrect, the 351 and 302 Cleveland were continued in Australia until 1985. They were sold last in the Xe Flacon series of passenger cars and Utes.

Australia still has many companies catering to these engines.

Amongst them.

Are you saying you'd like to put a cleveland into an Explorer ? I seriously doubt it'd fit. Due to the contruction of the heads they're much wider and making it fit AND getting a set of headers in there would be a nightmare.

Never heard of a 302 Cleveland in the states. Just the 351. Was it an Ausie only engine?

I'm assuming the 302 Cleveland would be similar to the 302 boss engine with canted valves?

Which is a Windsor block with Cleveland heads.

A 302 Cleveland is just a 351 C de-stroked as far as I remember, and yeah, it's an Aussie only motor. They'll run forever if regular oil changes.
Nothing like a 302 Boss windsor.

hey well i don't that much about the clevlands but it might be a Austrilian engine and yes a 351 clevland will fit into an explorer just for ur info. cause my frined who is selling it to me had it into his explorer with no problems

I accept that there are lots of great parts outside of the US. We base history on our history, it's great that we have a world wide economy now.

The Aussie Clevelands from what I've read had 2V heads with closed chambers, which would be about 64cc. Cleveland heads are great, but the 4V versions are too much for the street.

For the Explorer it would likely take stock exhaust manifolds to fit them in. I wouldn't do it just because of the many parts that are unique, plus the need for a carburetor. So much more can be done with fuel injection and Windsor parts. I'd like to build a 351W some day with aftermarket Cleveland heads, and a 4.0" stroke, FI and supercharged, using a 96-98 PCM. Good luck,

Yea I agree they are badass engines and you can transfor windsor stuf with the clevland block so yea I guess I got lucky haveing this engine and eventually I will put a supercharger
