I ditched those duals about 2 weeks ago. I needed to put that tire underneath my truck. The duals were an experiment to with the pipe diameter and sound.

Thats such a nice explorer

dang gardner your pics almost make me want to change my background pic on the computer to your x ... almost!!! ive still got the "new" feeling going on since i lifted the x ... but still some good pics ... always beats pics sitting in a walmart parking lot ;)

Mr armysoldier30263, Thanks! My X is my backround on my computer and my iphone Love hearing good commets, keeps me in the mod-ing game :)

i plan to run 285s or 305's. im still looking for a used set though seeing as my 245s only have about 8k on them.
33"s with 3.55s ...... should be interesting

It's not interesting. Just ease off start at red lights and don't tow anything over 3500 lbs

ease off? and why only 3500lb? just curious...

Sorry if it wasn't clear. Keep the rpm's low when your starting off and you wont have problems. Just be smart and you shouldn't have any problems.

The explorer doesn't like towing with a 33" tire. I've tow a 5x8 utility trailer with a 4 wheeler and a double jet ski trailer with 2 3 seat ski's and it will tow those just fine, but the explorer can not tow my 19' bass boat. Well it will, it doesn't like it at all. The dry weight of the boat is just over 3000 lbs.

So I bought an f-150, retired the explorer from towing. I'll be throwing 35's on it with 3.55's very soon.

You need to throw some mud up on your ex!!! :D

I know I know Nate ... im quite the hypocrite aren't I?? I just don't want anymore scratches on it ... and the wife would absolutely KILL ME cause I have absolutely no reason to mud it since I've got a fully capable z71 ... and also before I start flexing it I need the extended ucas cause the knuckles beat the snot out of the coil springs ... but yes I do need to get it dirty at least once :D

ahh, okay. dont mash the throttle, got it.
whats the worse that could happen if i keep driving like i do? (aggressive and throttle happy). would a regear allow me to keep my 10mpg drving habits?

and the most i tow is a 6x10 trailer with two cords of wood
