I wouldn't understand as I have never ran into a root or log on the trails. I guess utah doesnt have many logs or roots on the trails. I actually am making a skid plate soon (when I get spare money) that will be similar to what you are having done. I have always thought that cooler was in a bad spot.

I tried taking off my running boards and it looked horrible! LOL the frame and lines that run down the driver side were too noticeable. I was thinking bout sliders as well. I have a local company here that makes them pretty cheap...

lol yeah the frame is WAY too low on these rigs. is there a link for those sliders?? they look awesome!

Front strut looks different.

Hydraulic suspension maybe?

at that height he probably had to move the control arms and diffs down. Might have relocated the rear axle shafts outside the frame loops too.

I really want to contact the owner, but I don't want to be a pest about any of it. I would love to take pictures of the suspension set-up and talk over the "build-up" with the owner. I saw this ex once before going the other way on the road and the suspension looked much different that how mine does.

Looks like a regular shock too. Wish my welding skills were up to par.

That explorer looks amazing! i dont even see any frame hanging, it looks like its all suspension lift. if i needed a new explorer, that thing would be bought right now.

Since Nate is the one who found it and lives the closest to that seller, I vote he is the one to sacrifice his truck and purchase the one for sale :D Anyone else agree???

I would definately trade/sell my Ex for that one. Although I prefer mine as it has less miles and mine is a year newer.
I might breakdown and contact the seller and see if they will let me look at it or I could just act like Im interested in it and not end up buying it. :p:

Here you go Lynchy!!! I guess you have your cider/beer goggles on!! :frospecta

Thank's mate!!! Me gog's might need cleaning:D

They are listed for the Tacomas but would be easily fitted to our EX's. They come in 58", 67", and 78" lengths.

sweet those look awesome and i think they would look good on our exs. i might look into those and see what all we would have to do.
Nate that ex is awesome! i cant believe its all suspension. that is the biggest ex i have seen by far

amazing....

Somebody needs to get that guy on these forums before he sells that thing! I'd trade my 08 for that if it wasn't like 1000 miles away.
Or at least get him to take from shots of the front and back on level ground.

I would take the 20k extra miles if it was in good runner order. and if it wasn't in not anywhere close to me.

as much as i hate that happening to me i'd say go for it ... but these rocksliders (67") for 84 - 88 yotas are only $150 so for a total of $250 you could have these modded to fit our trucks and only 150 if you have the skills/tools to mod it ... maybe in may when i get my army clothing allowance (tax dollars hard at work :D)

yeah that would be awesome! i just measured my running boards and they were 78" and they also have a 78" length for 155 but im not sure which one would be better to go with, either way it would be awesome to see those!

i measured from door to door and 67" was my best bet (with lift and mud terrain tires coming soon) dont want them too close to the rear tire but either way will look awesome

yeah your right, i didnt think about that but we wouldnt want the rear tire rubbin, i would say 67" is a good size. how would you go about mounting them since they have those 3 pipes sticking out where the frame would be?
