tell them too "make haste" ..... hurry.. we need pictures.. can't wait to see what it looks like!

This is it here... RE XPLORE

With the right bracket welded on to make it fit the Explorer chassis, I don't see any reason this wouldn't fit.

I would just cut the part off the bumper that goes under the tail lights and put them back on some how. Then mount your heep bumper. Just make some simple adapter brakets;) Or cut off the brackets on the heep bumper and weld the factory brackets to the heep bumper.

ok...it's doesn't take 5 hours to put on a bumper....

:p:

That ^^^ is exactly how it went... They needed my authorization to make a few changes to the new brackets; and a few other changes. Won't be ready until tomoro... now I need to find a spare MT that will fit where the spare AT is.. hmm.

Also picked up two of these that will read: RE XPLORE :D

Got an MT spare...

We're gettin' there... an MT is being added as a spare because it's visible; there's going to be a lot of blacking out of the red areas under the lights and vehicle... still waiting.

Ok, with that pic, it's really starting to grow on me...
What model and brand is that bumper by the way?

Keep us up to date, and lets see all the pics as you go :thumbsup:

oh man, the receipt is in the vehicle... This model is being discontinued because of dimensions, but is still available. Jeeeep made changes, so this one I got off the display. I just don't know the maker's name... I got it from 4wheelparts.

Any idea what model of jeep this was made for?

I'm telling you....cut off the parts on the rear bumper that went under the lights and put them back on...It will look way better!;)

Cant wait to see how its going to turn out.:biggthump

Yes, Wrangler... I just called, they say it's Fourrealsteel(?) TJ bumper.

The problem is they would have to be cut and molded to fit... that's one of the thing's I was going to do a bit back... but I still have the bumper, so if can be done, I'll check it out. I just really want the plastics off the vehicle.

Except for that bracket on top to the left, that's it...

I wonder if that bracket has something to do with the optional tire carrier...

What sux? I don't think anything bad happened to his EX, he's just waiting for them to modify things and make the bumper fit...
