3rd generation Bumper registry

hmmm.. well could you now fabricate some steel panel for us to replace that panel under the back window so it will stop cracking on us? haha

I did ask about that... if it works out, it'll be done. What type of metal?

...Donner, I hope all is going well as I haven't had a call in a while...I hope you and yours had an Xcellent Xmas...:biggthump

Well, I'll pm you, but Christmas was Xcellent! :) Yours was too?

I'm not stopping...

The bumper stays... No way in he## I'm taking that off! :) I added two Hellas where the four KCs where, and two HID (4") below the headlamps. And the chrome rims are coming back... I think another Hella in the middle there would look better... added two sets of reverse lights to the rear bumper, one manual set, the other auto w/reverse. Life is too short to compromise, this is a bumper registry, and bumpers will remain... I'll get that rear bumper shot later today... (that little bracket with the green toggle was a test site, it's gone).

How's the bumper color? The gray was accidentally applied on one corner, but it looked nice, so we kept the entire thing that color... except the grille and nudge bars... but I think the grille is next... nudge bars stay black. Too crazy?

Okay, 99% done... How'd I do?

My additional reverse lights went out (the little ones), so I have to check that, and a little more touch up painting has to be done... but how'd it come out? I don't know about the rear corners - keep it black or body-color match it? (they need to be repainted either way...)

I'm not seeing things right? you did color match the front bumper?
I don't see anything that needs to be changed  perfect

very nice, veeeeerrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyy nice.

nice job donner looks great, i like the new wheels better the other ones

Thanks guys! I like the black rims a lot, but I prefer chrome on this vehicle... The light bar on the bumper is color matched... I still have to finish the area just below the Hellas, but I figured if the entire bumper where color matched, it might look like giant red lips... I could have it painted to see...

There are 2 Grand Cherokees (1 cherry red, another a golden/sand color) around here, they have color matched the grille guard and they look nice, but too street looking, not so much "Offroad capable" they seem more for show....

:) A winch is coming next... don't know how yet, and tow hooks too. I'd leave the nudge bars black, but the rest body color... still too much body color?

Donner - looks great. I'd colour match the corners, but leave the black stripe through it to match the rest.

Your truck looks great!

Did I mention i like the way it looks? Very nice - great, in fact!

your ex looks so sick. I want that rear bumper im just too much of a wimp to chop up the rear of the mountaineer

Dang, just checking in.

Loving the progress! Turning out a lot better than I expected, and this thread has upped my respect for 3rd gens:D

I never thought I would see one looking this good!

Keep up the good work!

Same here, anything new?

Donner hasn't been on in over a year....last activity 5-19-2009

More people shpuld do this. I'm debating it since I do need a new front bumper due to my accident

Oh how I wish donner was still on here. I lives 10 miles from me, and i need a fabricator!

He didn't do any of the fabrication himself, as far as i know. Not sure, but i think he went to Outlaw Offroad.

And anyone know what happened to Donner?
