Yesterday I was just telling my wife that it seemed like what we used to call "earthquake weather" when we lived in CA. Unseasonal warm and breezy.
We were almost expecting one here, but so far nothing. Having been through many stronger ones in the Bay Area I'm glad you only had a 4.4, I'll take many of those over a 7 or 8.
So no damage of corse, didn't even trip my earthquake valve on my gas line Quake was on the whitter fault, which is where we had one back in '87. I remember that quake very well!
On another note I thought maybe it wasn't a quake, and just my neighbor coming home late in his Toyota.:
Coulda sworn i was having a very vivid dream, because just as i woke up the quake stopped, checked the ceiling fan and it wasn't swinging, so i went back to sleep. Turns out i wasn't dreaming afterall.
I woke up about a minute before and when it hit I checked on my sleeping 2 year old then went back to bed. A few hours later I woke up again and didn't know if the earthquake was real or if it was a dream hahaha
