not bad, but did you ever consider something to mount further forward kind of like the N-Fab mount for 50" bars on F-150s?

Either way, looks pretty good. Bet it makes a stupid huge amount of light. What brand of bar is that?

I looked at every way to mount this bar, I wanted to mount it to the vehicle without having to drill into the roof or body of the car so I made up my own brackets to that attach to the roof rack supports. The wiring is run through the left rail so there is no hole needed for the wiring either.

The bar came from ExplorationOutfitters.com and the light output is entirely un necessary, you can see the beam of light in clear air about 12 feet in front of the bar.

Very nice!!

Here's where I put my 30" one:

Looks good nice spot for that!

Those are really good prices for bars using Cree LEDs.

That was the selling point for me, and the bar is one giant piece of aluminum about 10 lbs, I would say there is more than adequate heat dissipation.

Spot, flood or combo? I agree that it should have been mounted right above the windshield as you are losing some light to the roof.

Did you go back and use rubber grommets where the wire passes through?

It is a very narrow spot beam, 8 degrees, the light only touches the roof a between the sun roof and the windshield so there is no noticeable light lost. I did not use rubber grommets, the picture was taken when I was mocking up the wire length. When it was finalized it the entire length of wire was covered in heat shrink, and low temp rtv used to shield, and hold the wire where it passes through a surface ( Aviation Spec lol )

Been wanting an led bar for a very long time.Is it possible to take a in cab picture with bar only and bar with headlight? itd be a curiosity closer for me. Then i may grab one! Also looks pretty good, way to get creative

I will definitely get some pictures of the output, doing some traveling over the next week so wont be able until I get back.
