I have a 1996 explorer with a 4.0 OHV.
I've modified the engine with a low restriction intake (KKM) and exhaust (Flowmaster). I've added the BBK throttle body.
I have a set of tunes from Bamachips that include a 93 performance tune which I run all the time.
Last year I had to replace the heads due to cracking, so completed an upper end rebuild with new heads and valvetrain. I took the opportunity to install a Comp Cams 410 cam also with the Smith Bros pushrods of the correct length.
My question is, do I need to update my 93 tune since I installed the 410 cam to take full advantage of the cam upgrade, or am I likely ok with my current tune?
