every gear, it goes forward...park, neutral, reverse, drive, everything...always going forward


whats the deal? how can i fix it? need to get this thing on the road...PLEASE help

I would start by checking the external and internal shift linkage.

would neutral safety switch be a problem? i can start the truck in any gear, not just park

aw come on... 45 views and nobody else? is it because im a new member? i aint just here trollin, i just need to find out how to get this thing on the road..its my father in laws truck and they need it running

If it doesn't engage the park pawl there is something wrong with the shift cable adjustment, you need to check better.
