OK my fathers 96 explorer has a trans problem from what i see its showing a code of p0715 using my elm. I brought it to advance auto to double check it and the guy said the input turbine speed sensor, left front speed sensor, and right front speed sensor was showing up. Also the both front abs was coming up. I know that the input turbine sensor is inside the trans. So I change the fluid, filter, and cleared the code. He went for a drive to the store he said going there was good but coming back check engine light came back on and o/d light started flashing. A read that the sensor also is called the pressure sensor. Could it be possible that the valve body gasket could be separated? Is there an other test I could perform to find out before having to buy a rebuild kit?
