Hi everyone, did a 4x4 to 4x2 conversion on the front, took out the front differential, cv axle, rotors etc. and replaced it with 2wd parts. Works beautiful and no more hums and groan noises. I'm planning to swap tranny too and got all the parts tailshaft and all. Can I use the same 4x4 rear differential with the modified tranny and transfer case removal? Thanks in advance for any inputs.

Yup, The 2wd and 4x4 rear is the same.

Just as long as your front and rear gearing are the same.
