Sorry if this has been asked before, but what type of driveline mods are required to swap the 8.8 to a 9"? Is a new drive line required or can I get away with an adapter joint? Thanks

IMO It depends, how much lift, You can run a 1310 yoke, it may need to be lenghtened. Or you can run a Flange off a t-bird or lincoln and swap to a small pattern 1310 yoke from a 7.5" the latter is what i run, no driveshaft mod was required, will work up to about 5" of lift.

I have a set of deavers that are going on it, so I'm not exactly sure what the lift will be, more concerned about the plunge through its cycle. Thank you for the info
