91 Explorer XLT fuel gauge.

I'm looking to share much info off this site as I have owned this vehicle since 1992. My son came home from the hospital in it and now he's driving it. I've kept it all these years b/c its a great vehicle and have done many things over the years. Now I'm trying to get the fuel gauge to work. I have changed out the pump/sender twice and now have the slosh module out of the instrument panel, but now, the gauge seems to float way past full (it's a full tank). After disconnecting the connector, it now does nothing, so I think the gauge is faulty. I spoke with a ford tech and he said the gauge is normally changed out with the module, but the gauge is no longer available. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

A junkyard is your best bet..

You can also post in the parts wanted section as there are a few people parting out explorers so there may be one available.

Once a motor sells, I'll have another one for sale (gauge/cluster set)..
