92 4x4 axle swap options?

I have a project 92 explorer im working on and I want to know if theyre any beefier rear axles I could swap on like a d44 or d60. And what could I swap the front axle out for to get more clearance and lighter weight and overall better then the big ugly d35

A d44 rear is not stronger than the 8.8. you can go d60, sterling 10.25/10.5 or a 14 bolt.

The front is also stronger than any "replacement" you can find unless you go straight axle with a built d44 or a d60.

I wouldn't be against building a d44 to replace the front axle. Could I use a built d44 in the front and a d60 in the rear? Are those wider than the stock axles?
