So, I've checked my pads and shoes on my brakes, and all seem to be fine, yet when I press down on my brake pedal, I get a wooshing kind of a sound, even when my explorer is in park. When I am driving (or was driving I should say) I get the same sound, and it feels like only my front brakes are doing any work. I should also mention that the break pedal is going all the way to the floor.

I was wondering if anyone may have any ideas as to how I may go about fixing this. Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to provide.

I think you have a bad booster and/or bad vac line to the booster, and a possible failed master cylinder. If they have never been replaced, I'd do it without even checking to see if they are bad.

Check the Vacuum line from the Brake Booster to the Engines Manifold for a crack.
