Well, kind of-
actually-some late 97's -2001

look for a gt-40p in the casting-
or-look for an egr pipe on the driver side exhaust manifold

Ditto, it was a mid 97 change. I have a spare GT40 97 engine. There are a few places which can port any of the GT40's to flow like $1000 heads. The cost is usually $600-800, including full rebuilding and valve job.

Passenger Side.

haha, Jon should know better,

What I find weird about the whole switch is the 97's with the p heads still have the "header" style exhaust manifolds, I think that's why Dan didn't realize he had the p heads.

I have both OEM headers, they all look like hell. I thought that I may need a pair when I got them, it looks like I might be using the early set for my truck.

Has someone easily switched the EGR to the early design, does it affect the electrical circuits?
