plan have changed. Due to the low of 2 degrees and a high of 15 where i'll be tomorrow, the building process will be posponed till next friday. This is good becuase i can now install gears at the same time
Oh yeah..and a windchill of -25 is not cool either.
when its warm...and i get some bolts. It should be around 38 degrees next week so it may come off then.
I put some 42" tires on this just for fun...wow is all i can say. It looked like the Icelandic tundra trucks..very bad a$$ locking. All it needed was the massive fender flares.
a 5.9 cummins swap in this thing
damm
those blocks are DAM HEAVY like 1000+ pounds never mind the trans added on. you think it'll be worth it I have a feeling youre going to have some serious trouble getting the big cummins inbetween those frame rails.
never mind what that power will do to those frame rails..
you could shoehorn the little on in.. I've seen those in wranglers... maybe a nice turbo kit ... mmm
14 bolts in. Steering stabilizer mounted (truck no longer death trap) and 5.13's. im getting 17 MPG!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am darn happy with the new gears. At this rate the gears will pay for themselves in a month.
Also i had a new driveshaft made out of .095 wall as compared to the stock .083 wall. It has Zero runout too.
