I have a 99 Mountaineer. This morning the Ignition cylinder broke. I have since replaced it with one, that fits my old key. But now my car doesn't start. I also get 4 rapid beeps. I am not sure where they are coming from. But they only happen after I attempt to start my car. It acts like the immoblizer has kicked in, I am not sure how to disable it. The Sercurity Manual talks about a 2 digit code that I can't find. I am not sure what the problem might be. Unless the cylinder has some way of transmitting a code. Any Suggestions are welcomed.
