Please Help Me.........

Still cannot figger out after all this reading, just WHICH V-8 did Ford use in the '99? 5.0L OHV, or 4.6L OHC?

If 5.0L, are you-all sure it had roller-lifters? Back in the day, only 5.0L HO version had roller lifters, and those I believe only came in Lincolns and Mustangs. imp

I haven't used any yet, I'm gonna be going 5.0 OHV...

I'm set on getting a Limted because of the full length centre console with message centre and the ETAC system that I want to put in, plus the front seats have headrests for future screen install....

The 5.0, I don't know for sure about roller rockers, doubt it does.
The 4.6 started being installed in 2002

Yes the Explore & Mountaineer 5.0 have roller cams & lifters.

well, I got a call today... that rollover runs!! so the $400 deal looks like it's back on.... so now, which one do I go for? the 2000 rollover for $400 or the 98 that's complete?

Yes the Explore & Mountaineer 5.0 have roller cams & lifters.

Thanks for that info! They should be fairly long-lived engines, judging by the service I have gotten from 5-ohs over the years.

My '93 Mustang Cobra had roller-rockers, in addition. imp

Well, I think I'm gonna go with the 2000, just gotta find someone with a flat deck trailer and I'm still waiting on my cheque to arrive.... unless, I can get a friend to front the cash till I get my cheque.... we'll have to wait n see... but I really hope it doesn't get sold before I get there....

It looks like the interior on the rollover got a season of rain. Take some leather cleaner with you to try on a couple of spots (mold?) to see if it comes off. If not you can probably get it for less $$. It has side air bags. Looks like a fun project.

gutted!!... as for the rollover, I don't think I'm gonna go with that interior, mine's tan, this one's grey, but I've found a really nice tan interior for $200....
