- '89 Bronco II
Hey guys. New to the forum.
Just picked up a '89 Bronco II mud truck a few weeks ago and picked it up cheap enough that I was able to blow the tranny the very next day
I've found an A4LD to replace it but am getting mixed info as far as fitment goes.
At first my understanding was that any A4LD from a 85-94 Bronco II would fit (mine has the auto now, and manual shift 4x4, tranny shifter is also on the floor not on the steering column)
But today I was told I have to find a '89 or '90 Bronco II for it to fit...
The tranny I found to replace it with, just states that its from a "1985-1994 ranger or bronco II , in good shape , clean oil."
Also, when I go to pick it up, what tell-tale clues can I look for to make sure its not trashed, if any.
I appreciate your help!
