I found these fender flares on eBay and ordered a set of 4 for $70. They’re polished steel and seem to be well made. They’re attached with screws and even have a rubber gasket.
I’ll be painting them black and installing them this weekend and will post photos when I’m done. They don’t seem to be as wide as the OEM flares but they look like they cover my tires which have 0 offset perfectly. They’re advertised as 2” wide and for 95-98 Explorers, so I may have to modify the ends so they fit the running board trim.
It was nice to find these as there aren’t too many accessories custom made for our old Explorers these days.
