Aftermarket Trailer Hitch 23' Limited

This is first post on Forum. I have just bought a 23' Limited and I need to add hitch & wiring. Fortunately I live near Elkhart, IN
the RV capital of the world and there are many places to have hitch added. Is there anything I should be aware of since this
model Explorer does not have a hitch cover like my old Yukon.

Welcome to the Forum.
I believe the Limited has the 2.3L Ecoboost I4 engine. With an aftermarket tow package, you can tow up to 3,000 lbs.
The 5th gen Explorer had the hitch cover on the bumper but the 6th gen may have done a way with that. I'm sure someone will correct me if that is not the case. 6th Gen Stock 2020+ Explorer & Aviator Photo Thread
