I am interested in slitting costs on a room as well. I will be there sometime Friday night. I will be leaving Norfolk, VA sometime between noon an 3pm depending on wht time we get out of work. At 311 miles I figure it will be a 5 to 6 hour drive depending on traffic.

What's going on Friday night, where and what time? If someone has a cell phone # they can give me so when I pull in to town I can find everyone.

I'm gonna give red ridge a call tomorrow and let them know there is going to be a group of 20+ people coming.
Hopefully the tuna will post the schedule for carlisle soon and not break her car charger so we can all get in touch with her if need be.

Seriously, the cops at Carlisle make %85 percent of their revenue during Carlisle's show months- I saw them pull over Ricers for doing 5 miles over the speed limit! I myself got busted because I came to a stopsign at a stoplight and only stopped for the light (two whole feet in front of the stopsign, WHOOP DE DOO) -$104 dollar ticket! THey take this very seriously, guys an gals, don't F with them!!!!

PA legal height is 32" from ground to front bumper, they want you to have mudflaps (ugh...just buy a cheap set for the show if your truck is THAT tall- you can hold them in place with a zipties or something and take them back off) and ANY ROOFLIGHTS NEED TO BE WEARING COVERS!!!!!! Lizard! This means you, lol

On the upside, I made friends with a whole mess of police up there and showed them pics- (lots of oohing and aahing) so now they hopefully know our trucks and will leave us alone...

Hell, I told the people at the Sleep Inn what happened and apparently I got the most **** cop in that county...they gave us a discount of $40 per night on our hotel rooms because they hate the guy! LOL

But lindsy, but what if we dont have stock size tires and gears and our speedos are off? what then? how will know if we have driven 2 and 3\4 miles? And i gotta buy mudflaps? bah, i've been meaning to do that since NJ sucks so ill do that this week. Also i see that I am a contact person for information. As far as i know lizard still hasnt located his cell phone so i guess that makes me the contact person for all the paragon info. Roof lights? no more, nothing on the roof anymore, no need for em..... got mudflaps, just not on the truck now, bumper is legal height, even have flares on the front tires so they dont stick out past the body. so on that note.... F@#K CARLISLE COPS!!!!

Ill be busy out at paragon for the next 2 weeks gettin ready for NEUROCK. and I just spent 3 days strait guiding there this weekend, wheelin gets tiring after 3 strait days of it. As per trails, Im trying to get a list of ppl bringing their trucks so I can set up a good run. SO EVERYONE PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU PLAN ON WHEELIN ON SUNDAY ASAP.

I cant turn it down, I wheel for free, and I got a green flag now, this weekend was a volunteer deal but hopefully next weekend will be a pay weekend, and hopefully there will be some work out there. Matt, Ill see whats goin on this coming weekend and let ya know. theres a few trails out there that ya never hit, but I know you would like.

IamTodd, yes, we will all be together for this one....Even if you pre-register online, you still have to fill out papers at the registration gate, so if you goof up you're still with us no matter what.

Lizard, for Heaven's sake, paint those doors already!

I am in for the hotel if someone is willing to put up with my snoring. Also, I will be pulling in to Carlisle after the hotel meet time most likely so I will call lizardtrac upon arrival to the area to locate the group. Let me know bout the hotel.

We may have more than 4 people in a room what with everybody bringing pals and all but it shouldn't get over more than 6....if we have that many I'll beg for another room asap.

That's fine with me. I'm in the Navy and used to close quarters and after 12 years of it I have learned to sleep through anything. Thanks and I can't wait. What makes this even better is it's my first offroad trip since Truckhaven 2003 and I am really looking forward to it. I hope I get off early enough on Friday to make it to the drags on Friday night.
