Very nice. I noticed the sticker on the liftgate now shows "AWD" instead of 4WD.:)

Interceptors were always AWD rather than 4WD (well, except for some early ones that actually came in FWD-only). No low range, no switch at all.

The 5th gen Explorer shows 4WD on the liftgate, at least the ones I had, and they also had no low range or switches. There are threads debating the 4WD designation.

I hadn't realized that. In fact, in the owner's manual, the 4WD and AWD system have an identical description.
