alright so people commonly only see a 1st or 2nd generation explorer towing like 500-1500lb trailers, well i had a thought that amused me today, just to make people look and wonder, wouldn't it be kind of funny to put a deisel engine, like from a f250 in an explorer so you could pull massive trailers, just to watch peoples reactions when they pass you, i know i dont' have the money and it would take tons of fabrication and work, but it would amuse me...

Its more the frame, not the engine that determines towing capacity though, so I'm not too sure it would help that much, may even lower it because the engine is so heavy?
