Another stock roof rack question....

I am not a fan of the stock roof rack. I use my safari basket quite a lot, easy to mount it up but I think it is too high when perched up on the rails.

Does anyone have any experience with mounting one of the direct mount roof track systems? The kind that are fairly flush with the roof line.

I would like to hear your thoughts on any portion of this purposed project....

I put a Yakima Road Warrior on my stock cross bars and it fits nicely, doesn't stick up very much. I can post some pics if you want.

I had a different issue with my stock rails, the front passenger side does not get tight after snugging up the torx screw. The front screw that keeps it from sliding works fine but the back of that rail is floppy. Is there a fix for that?
