Any way to chop the top, need to fit quad

If you really HAVE to. Take the handlebars off, wheels/tires off, and take the shocks out letting the suspension go full droop. (you might have to take all your a-arms off since you're fully independent) If that isn't enough... just get a trailer.

Heck I have an expedition now, I'm not cannibalizing my Z400 to get it in the back of it. Get a better trailer, my first 4x8 trailer could do 65+ no problems. My current 6x12 does it no problems. Next will be an enclosed 8x14-16 for me.

Awesome.. I am not sure when I will actually move forward. I need the go ahead from the wifey for a long trip...

To be honest I have no clue what model (I know its a shame)... It has leather.. and a sh!tty stereo.

Anyway with the seats down I should be ok on the interior.... But, if I do a long trip, I may remove the seats completely and would be sure to cover the interior with movers blankets etc. If fact, I havent even checked the width on the wheel well. The bike is 48 inches across.. so it may not even work.

If it dosent work, then I will rent a good size trailer off ridge across from Ace. I think its only $200 for the week, but where is the fun in that?

Also, what size hitch are you running? I was thinking about upgrading to class III. On etrailer they have a model with a plate that covers the stock hitch. Not as ghetto as others.

Well, are there buckets in the back, or bench?

And thanks, now I know where I can get a trailer. I'm hoping I need to soon, because that means that I scored a new toy. I'll have to check that place out...

And I've got a Class III on mine.

Leather and a ****ty stereo? Sounds like an Xlt to me! lol

Just curious, why wont u-haul rent to an explorer owner?

Yep, that's mine too, Leather and a ****ty CD/Tape, lol...

And it's due to the whole rollover thing from a few years ago. They'll rent to Mounties, but not X's, despite the fact that they're pretty much identical chassis-wise....

Shoot, I have the PERFECT idea.:D Buy a class 3 hitch, build a plateform that will slide into the hitch and hold the quad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, I want my cookie now:D

this quad is way too big for a hitch mount carrier with no wheels IMO

You don't think the reciever could hold 500lbs? I haven't really even looked to see what the tongue rating is anyway. I still want my cookie though:D
