i figured a little obove 5 grand i could do it for less for my self but if it was for a customer and every thing has to come out perfect things cost a little more.

i never heard of a turbo being called a blower, so when i say blower i mean supercharger.

Me either.... No one I've ever talked to has called a turbo a blower, even on the DSM boards.

i have heard of being called the wrong name from both directions. it usally comes from really ignorant people that dont know what they are talking about or people that are just impress and out of there area of know how. remeber not every one is into cars and trucks therefore the parts they have on them are greek to them.

I just picked up a Motor Trend while I was at my mechanics and they referred to both s/c's and turbos as blowers throughout the entire mag. I'm not saying they're correct, just saying. However, if you think about it, both s/c's and turbos "blow" air, they're both air pumps; so technically, they're both blowers.

turbo mod

what kind of hp could a person expect with a turbo on a 5.0 with the minor mods installed to make it run right?

really depends on how much boost you run. if you put one on a relativly stock 5.0, figure 80 or so hp with 8psi. but, you basically open a gateway to more hp, and a cam and head work or different heads will boost that 80hp alot.
