Anyone know where I can get the best price on a 5.5" lift?

I found a Superlift kit for $742.00 with shipping, through Rocky Mountain Suspension Products, but have never dealt with them before.

Have you thought about a 3-inch body, coil spacers and shackels? That will give you almost 5-inch cheap.

I have a 5.5 superlift and I am satisfied. Does the kit have extended brake lines?

The 3" body lift is going on top of the 5.5" suspension lift! I have "high" hopes. I am doing the D44 knuckle swap up front and am going to run a set of 36x12.5`s.

I would think about trimming the fenders before installing the body lift. A 3-inch body lift on top of a 5.5-inch suspension lift is bad for highway driving (body roll and wobble).

36s will be very hard on the front bearings. What about regear 5.13?

Not going to be a hi-way vehicle, will be trailered to any off-road parks because I always go for the gold and end up breaking something.

Shouldn`t have a problem with bearings since I am doing the D44 knuckle swap.

Planning on 4.88`s.

I have 36s on 5.5 - 6" lift. No trimming in the rear, and minimal in the front. Just saying. :)

I would look in the for sale forum here, The Ranger Station and Off-Road Rangers for used lifts.

Not saying it can`t be done.....but I`d like as much room to spare as I can..no fun ramming your tires into your wheel-wells while out playing.

...Froader knows...:D

...I have a similar set up that you are wanting to do and, even with the body lift you still require trimming with only 35's, even though I still highway mine...I would also count on carrying some front shafts and u-joints...

...If you are going to break your stuff regular you better count on doing some fabricating to beef up your superlift brackets or you could do skyjacker...;)

Used to have an `88 Ranger on 33`s...I was used to breaking shafts!!! Always carried 2 extra spares...just in case..lol

The d28 will do that. :)

So, I searched:

here
TRS
ORR
Pirate
DR

and have found nothing.

Might just want to get that for the price you found shipped. Not a bad deal really. Good luck finding one.
