Alright, group meeting place will be in Green Valley at 9:30, CB ch. 34.

When, and where were you thinking?
Has anyone else confirmed other than me and you? If so, (and starting from Green Valley) I'd pick either the Deerlick Ranger Station or Ultramar gas station. If I'm the only one coming from Arrowhead side, ignore me, screw Green Valley and make it the Discovery Center. Anyone can find that place :)

If nobody else confirms, I guess it really doesn't matter much where we meet (or even where we start). Which way do you plan on coming up the mountain?

damn id love to go too but i need the new tires, if you guys plan anything in the future let me know im always game.
If you don't have steel showing and have a good spare, you should come :D. Be a shame to miss out when you're so close.

Bump, because 94explorer2x4 needs to make up his mind and anyone else within 100 miles should come too. :p

OK, I have another friend coming in a Jeep Cherokee

Sorry you can't make it FROADER (and everyone else who can't), but I'm sure there will be plenty more runs up here this summer and it'll be all the more fun with newly built/repaired/reshoed rigs.

So where are we meating? what time? food drinks? grill?
Nate

Glad you can make it, Nate

"Green Valley" is a bit broad. Do you know the area, Nate?

As for food, I was just going to pack a sandwich or two and a few drinks in a cooler. If everyone packs "something extra" to share, that'll be nice.

Yeah very vegue on that More detail please.

Parking lot next to green valley lake?? Or bar across the street?

I'm assuming (hoping) Boomer will fill in some details tonight, but I think there's a clearing right at the trail head at Crab Flats road (at the top of the hill just before the lake).

Wherever we meet, I'll be in a Green Sport and my friend will be in a brown Grand Cherokee.

Note: I'll also have CB on 34 and GMRS on 17-34

Sorry, this "critical training" at work has been a real PITA.

The Ultramar in Arrowbear will be the best bet to meet at (sorry, I keep forgeting that some pepole don't know the mountain that well). Everything else should be good!

Ultramar it is at 9:30am. For anyone who doesn't know the area, that's about 1.25 miles east of the 330 on the 18.

It can't be that bad right after a trip to/from Moab.

Not quite sure if we'll beable to keep it intresting enough for you, but we'll sure try. :D

Thats true. 24hrs round trip for 4 days of wheeling vs. 5hrs for a day isn't that bad.

Ok, I'm in unless I don't wake up in time.

What trails are we running?

Right now the only definite one(s) are 3N16 from Crab Flats toward Holcomb valley, and up and over Gold Mtn.
Other than that it just depends on what everyone feels comfortable with since we may have a 2wd, although I'd love to do the east side of John bull and try Holcomb creek. :D

BTW my Cell # (760) 887-4010

Sweet Jefe is in!!!
