Big Bear???

I was wondering how much of a difference it makes between and LSD and a Locker. I have an LSD and I haven't had too much trouble crawling things.:D

A limited slip is great in sand or snow, but once you lift a tire off the ground it will be useless.

So I'm going to be in Big Bear the 13th - 15th with my dad, uncle and some of their friends. On of their friends wants to test out the new Xterra so we'll be doing a couple trails during the day. If anyone wants to meet up for a day on the trails let me know.

I think I may be up for this, you bringing the Ex? Shoot me the info when you get a chance;)

Well I have broken my drive line taking the truck out to get some gas. I pushed the gas a lil hard and it broke the welds loose on te SOA and it spun my axle. I think I am just gonna squat it back down. Atleast I know I can kick ass at pismo that way :D hehe. Anyone have a spare drive line?

That sucks, but get it welded correctly and you won't have the problem.

I am just gonna put it back to SUA. Atleast I know if I have it that way I know I can jump it all I want and I wont have a problem. I want to be able to jump the dunes at Pismo. I Like the way it handles that way too. I don't have to drive really slow that way.:D

i just replied on the pismo thread but didn't know the extent of your drive shaft, bummer...don't forget, pismo is policed...i wouldn't want you to be the first haul off there...;)

Dave, now we're not hitting the trails at all... Now (well so I'm told for the time being) is to ride our Mt. Bikes on Bear Mt.

Sorry, pops is pretty indecisive sometimes.

hmmm. I'd bust out that MT. Bike and join ya but I'm so out of shape, that I'd probally colapse after the first few hundered feet:(

lol, the california way to mountain biking, ride the chairlift up, rofl, classic...:D

It's all downhill. Ride the chairlift up.

see, that's where I'm not so gutsy anymore. My Gary Fisher is a old hardtail with no suspension.:( A little ruffer on the ride, besides I know it needs some maintance... Like new brake pads and stuff.

No problem Colin...my buddy has my tandem cruiser at his house, wonder how that would do on the downhills. It's even got a springer front end:p:
Have fun out there:thumbsup:

froader, be sure to film it...:D

roflmao, and you will be following the tandem daredevils??....lol

Big Bear Camp & Crawl

And back to this run...

So should we reschedule this for August? I'm pretty much sticking to local runs for the rest of the summer since I may have potential motor problems arising...more of a "just in case factor".

Dates? I'm open any weekend in Aug. except for the first weekend.

Also, who's gonna camp and where?

or maybe... September?

Would be nice to get something going on before Truckhaven.

I'm currently open every weekend but Labor Day and can go for a day run or camp.
