On the stock rims you'll be looking probably at a narrower tire, which is better anyway if you deal with snow a lot. 33x9.5 seems to be pretty popular, I know BFG's come in the size, and it'll be fine on the stock rims.

the tallest i would go with a stock rim would be a 33" tire as far as wide a 10.5 would look good, 11.5 would be fine but i would'nt recomend that wide on a stock rim.

33x10.5 is the biggest i would go on the stock rim.... if you were to get a 15x10 rim than 33x12.50 would work out good; a 15x8 rim would work with a 33x11.5

Since you're going to have 5.5 - 6" of lift, I would go with no smaller than 33s. The 33x10.50 will look good. There are a couple people on this site that have these tires. Flesman has them and I think Ray Hutchinson still has them. Search for there trucks and you can see for yourself how it will look. Try to find rays because it is the same bodystyle as yours. Felsman has a newer one. Good luck.

you should only go four inches wider than your rim with your tires, but considering it's a stock rim i don't think they were meant for such a wide tire, therefore you can prolly crack your rim or something of that matter.

well...

my friend wants to part with his super swamper sx's, 4 for 375....they are 32X11.5 im really considering getting them...but then..they might crack the stock rim?? anyone running this size tire on the stock rim?

They say it isn't safe, they say it won't hold, they say the rim might break, they say they say they say, but...

I did, I ran a goodyear at/s 33x12.50x15 on my stock wheels for over a year and never had any problems at all, I ran them at 14 psi on some runs, I ran them at 35 psi for trips to Texas and back (800+miles) five seperate times. I did some STUPID (I learned now) high speed turns and donuts on pavement they held just fine. I NEVER EVER had a problem with them. It is of course up to you but that is what I KNOW and have witnessed first hand!

The problem with a stock rim is rub...My 31x10.5 BFG rubbed the sway bar on the stock rim. The 35x12.5 rub no where on the after market rim.
