I have a 96 explorer 5.0 awd, with the ATC... A few days ago the blower started continueing to work even after the off button was pushed on the atc.. I cant control the fan speed at all, the vents still change however.. When the off button is pushed on the atc the air is directed towards the windshield.. Anyone have any idea what this could be.. Its starting to get cold here. Thanks !

its likely your blower speed controller

the whole module itself- as the one inside the truck?

+2 on the blower motor controller, same thing happened on my Lincoln with auto temp, it was on/off/high/low it was all over the damn place even with the heater turned off. its a expensive version of a "blower motor resistor" in a normal setup. and its not the heater control panel, just follow the wires from the blower motor to a box and thats it
