Ok, my 94 X, when I'm driving even smoothly it bounces too much. It's even worst when I land on a pot hole or speed bump.. HOLD ON!!!!!!!!!! It's ridiculous and everything falls when i hit something hard on the street, meaning my head, hehehehe.. But anyways, does anyone know what could be the problem?? Shocks I guess?? or someone got a better clue of it?? Help out please???

Ok what types of shocks or springs do you recommend that can be performance??

Help out

for performance are you looking for a squishier ride or a more performance oriented harsher/more responsive ride?

Ok, I want a nice clean ride, meaning a smoother bump and not an off road harsh thing, just smoother ride, what do you suggest??

i have heard that the edelbrock ias, gabriel vsts or any of the rancho or procomps are good.... i have tkico gas shocks and they handle quite well... ithey are bumpy a lot now though.... they have probably like 50k miles on them.... time for new shocks. but i need the $ more to fix other things....

edelbrock is good. i like my gabriel vst i couldnt afford to replace my bilstiens. bilstien is excellent for performance on and off road. if i had the $ i would get the bilstien 5100.

oK Edelbrock springs right?? How much are they??

and what shocks did you say?? and how much??

Correct me if I'm wrong and if possible detail these things like into a list... Thanks

I really appreciate your help
You know a website where I can these at a low price??

no, he and i are talking about the edelbrock ias shocks.... not eibach springs.. although, if you want to lower it, eibach makes really good springs.... bilstein is also a good company.. very good quality.. they make springs and shocks.....

do you happen to know a website where I can order these parts..

Eibach shocks

and what springs again??

Sorry if I'm being such a dodo head..

no...

edelbrock ias shocks

for lowering springs, eibach

bilstein also does lift springs and does shocks

do a search on a search engine for retailers...

thanks for the help, I think I'll do a search where you told me..

Thanks

wait i thought we were talking about tires....

nah I just wanted to know about springs and shocks that's all, not tires, I have new tires on my truck, why get new ones again..

i was being silly. that was funny exchange between you and jim. what kind of tires did you get?

I like my Monroe shocks - and you can't beat the price with a stick. And while we're on the topic of springs and shocks... I have a 94 4dr and want to stick add-a-leaf and shackles in the back. Where can I find coil springs for the front end that will match that amount of lift? I don't really want coil spacers. Any info?

I use Edelbrock IAS shocks and like them. plus lifetime warentere you can't beat

Greddy, be careful with the Eibach lowering springs, although I never had these. If you want to lower the front end right, then go with the I-beams for lowered explorer (91-94). I am assuming your is 2WD drive. This I-beam will cost you a lot more then the coils, but if you want to get a comfortable lowered ride, then I-beams are the way to go. I think company called AIM carries them. When I used to have my '92 I used Suspension Techniques(which BellTech bought them out) 3/4inch dropped coils for the front and Monroe sensortrack shocks, the ride good for the handling, but it awful on bumps..I seem to feel every single bumps. Even Explorer Express don't recommend lowering the 1st generations. I would probably go from what other said about using the performance products or Explorer Express front springs for the factory ride hieght. If you want to drop then I would go for the I-Beam change and you will stay with your stock coils and keep the factory alignment specs. Definately get new shocks
