Two Things:

At all the websites I have looked at that rate tires, the Dueler ATs are ranked ridiculously high. I have them (they came with the truck when I got it) and like them, but I was surprised to see them ranked ahead of the BFG ATs. Anyone got an opinion on that?

Second, I am thinking about getting a set of M/Ts on the X for my next round in about 10,000 miles. I saw that one website guaranteed the Dueler M/Ts for 40,000 miles. Is that typical for a set of M/Ts? I always thought that they got pretty crappy tread life. Does anyone have 31" M/Ts on their X? If so, what are your opinions?

I've been impressed with the tread life on my duealer M/T's. About 99% of the miles my truck sees is on pavement. They've held together very well. And I'm always blown away with their off-road performance.
Oh ya...they're the 31x10.5x15 size. Plus they look way cool. :D

How many miles have you put on them so far?

I have to guess on this. But I'd say around 35,000 - 40,000 miles on those tires. I had to get a new set since I ruined one of the tires. I got a flat and I couldn't stop right away so I ended up damaging the sidewall in two different spots. But I still have the two orginional tires and lots of tread left on them.

Duelers are excellent tires. If they made them in a 33x10.5, thats what would be on my truck. But alas, I have BFGs...not that there is anything wrong with that. :)

the dueler at's that i had were 31x10.50s, they rank higher then bfg's because they last longer and they have better street manners, like road noise and tire wear, i have 33x12.50 bfg's right now and i love them, i still believe bfg's are better but thats because i take it off road a lot and they are better for that.
