broke 2 bolt heads 5R55E

Hello, I'm new to this and need some advice. I broke 2 bolts off on my servo cap. The thought of drilling them out seems painful but ill do what I got to do. If there's another way without drilling them great and also the servo just sits up in its cylinder correct?? there's nothing else other then putting the new Orings on it and push it in and torque the 4 bolts??

Sorry I can't help you with your issue, however I moved your thread to our Transmission forum where the right folks should see it.

The reverse servo rides in the bore in the case, you may find a spring in there on the early models, you can disregard that spring going back in. There are two o rings on the servo and a gasket under the cover. You may want to look up in the servo bore to see if the band is intact if you are chasing a reverse problem.

Broken bolts can be frustrating for sure.

Use a 1/4" drive In/Lb torque wrench on the new bolts.
